After winning the Australian Brodix Tournament of Champions Qualifier, 22 year old Victorian Lauren Densley headed to the States and competed in the 360 Knoxville Nationals, The 360 Tournament of Champions and a Sprint Invader Race at Donnellson, Iowa before leaving to come home.
Landing midnight on Monday after 30+ hours in transit, Tuesday was slept away leaving Tuesday evening to meet up with my car owner, Larry Weeks and travel with him to where the car is kept in Montezouma, around one hour north east of Knoxville.

That’s the thought of 22-year old Victorian Lauren Densley after finishing 22nd in the 7th annual Brodix Tournament of Champions at Knoxville Raceway in Iowa. Lauren was delighted to achieve her pre-meeting goal of finishing the 30-car, 30-lap feature race unscathed in spite of spending the entire night almost totally devoid of brakes!

| (Knoxville, IA: Sunday, August 5, 2007) …..LAUREN DENSLEY, Australia’s sole qualifier for tonight’s invitational-only 62-car Brodix Tournament of Champions, is confident of an improved showing after the disappointment of her American debut in the 360ci Knoxville Nationals. Lauren had to deal with the frustration of problems in time trials on her qualifying night that prevented the 22-year old Victorian from progressing further.
